Red on a Gray Day

Posted on January 25, 2007 - Filed Under self reflect

It is amazing how red “Mr. Red” is on a gray cold day. His feathers almost bleed with color against the dull sky, yellow grasses, and dull brown lake. He frequents the feeder, only to be disappointed by the rotting remains of food. I need to buy a fresh block of seed for Mr. Red. He reminds me there is work to do, so I look down at the computer and carry on with the array of words, isolated realities, of the clients I see each week. Words that so limit the actual truth of their experience.
