Shooting With Guns

Posted on July 1, 2008 - Filed Under self reflect

Yes – went to the range to shoot a gun. Yes – I chose to wear the NRA hat – and my dad’s shirt DOES say “Stop Checking Me Out.” Doesn’t he look proud? It’s my first time. I think I have always wanted to do it since finding my dad’s BB Gun in his closet and taking it outside to shoot paper plates when he was at work. Yeah, I guess I got into some things. I knew better not to point it at anything but the plates, or mess with anything else that looked dangerous. When Pito took Justin, I chimed up, “What about me? I wanna do it too!” Today was MY turn.

I guess I was the only one brave enough to fire off the bigger guns repeatedly. Needless to say my neck and shoulders are a bit sore, and the video makes me look chubby (which I guess I am – who the hell knows, every damn mirror in the world lies anyway!) I won’t bore you with ALL of it, just the highlights and my feeble attempt at editing. Thus, today’s blog is really a video blog. Enjoy!
